Hey friends!
Sadness and all aside, I have to ask how everyone's Thanksgiving was? Mine was really nice- I watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade (I miss NY!) and ate muffins and bagels for breakfast. Remember, guys- you can never go wrong with carbs... Atkins was a moron, and that's why he's dead.
We had a very Italian type of Thanksgiving, and it was nice. Ate all day, I swear I'll never eat again. We had soup, salad, baked ziti- and finally, the turkey dinner with all the trimmings! Green bean casserole, stuffing (both with sausage and without), cranberries, corn, biscuits, mashed potatoes, and gravy. Seriously good food.
The problem with eating this much stuff in one day, is you end up with a lot of leftovers, because no one can eat that much of any one thing. And trust me, by day 3, you're feeding Rover under the table.
Or in my case, Lady.
But anyway...
the Christmas season is upon us, and for me, that means it's the best time of year. It also means it's time to redo my journal, which is, in itself, a bit of an undertaking. Nothing I can't handle, though. My house always looks Christmas Crazy, and this year has been no different.
I just LOVE the holidays!
